Pennsylvania is the next showdown
Hillary won Texas and Ohio so the race goes on. Wyoming and Mississippi will be discounted because Obama will win them then it will come down to the Keystone State. I hope our local candidates have reserved/paid for time on the local news because Hillary and Obama will buy up every second available. More to come.

Let's all work together to let Senator Clinton know that her time has come... and gone. She has had her moment. It is time for serious leadership, not four more years of self-service.
Republicans in Texas gave Hillary the edge. They know that they will kick her ass come November if she gets the nod, and her greedy self knows this. She is in it for herself and everything that is wrong with the Democratic Party.
Gee, and just a few weeks ago the only ass most Republicans were interested in kicking was John McCain's.
I predict if Hillary becomes President, she'll give her husband a sweet, cushy Ambassadorship. To Vatican City. (No women, as far as I know, except for some nuns and some tourists.)
So McCain is your guy in '08...strange how he was unacceptible to most of you in '00. And even stranger than he kisses W's ring after what W did to him in '00. Yes sir. Talk about principles...A W endorsement for McCain is as good as a Vincente Fox endorsement for Hackett....
Gort is right about the media time though...the presidential race may suck some of the wind out of the congressional campaigns.
OBAMA'S BIG MISTAKE WAS THE NAFTA/CANADIAN CONNECTION. HIS CAMPAIGN DENIED ANY MEETING AND WHEN IT CAME OUT THAT THERE WAS INDEED A MEETING (DESPITE THE FACT IT WAS NOT THE MEETING ORIGINALLY REPORTED) BARACK TOOK ON THAT OH TOO FAMILIAR STENCH OF A EVERYDAY POLITICIAN. IN OTHER WORDS, HE STRAINED HIS CREDIBILITY, AND THIS CAN PROVE TO BE FATAL IN THE PRIMARIES OR IN THE FALL. BAD WEEK FOR BARACK.
Obama denied that which his campaign staff had done, because he didn't know what they had done. No big deal. Very common in campaigns for staffers to get up to this or that (release photos to the media in an effort at a smear campaign for example) without notifying the candidate - leaves the candidate with the opportunity to say "I didn't know" - which Senator Obama did not. Not nearly a mark against his credibility and certainly not fatal. No, being a Democrat with a desire to win at any cost, even taking plays from Karl Rove's playbook - that will prove fatal for Hillary.
DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER HE KNEW OR NOT--PERCEPTION IS REALITY AND HE COMES OFF AS JUST ANOTHER POLITICO. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT BECAUSE LIKE IT OR NOT, HE IS NOT ALL PURE--ONLY CHRIST WAS.
Regardless of how anyone feels, it looks as if the math itself is against Mrs. Clinton; even if 'buyer's remorse' sets in by Summer. Democrats may be at a nominating convention in September knowing all too well that they are marrying the wrong bride and that the girl they truly love (but ignored early on), is sitting in the pew and not standing at the altar--that girl of course being Mrs. Clinton. The young children who put Mr. Obama in the winning position that he is now in--like all children, become fickle. We can only hope that Mr. McCain blunders big time in the fall, as it looks as if he shall prevail at this time. Class dismissed.
I reregistered as a Democrat simply for the pleasure of voting against Hillary Clinton; I would love for Pennsylvania to be the state which finally slays -- politically, of course -- the Wicked Witch.
Some of my friends were all for Republicans trying to upset the Obama applecart by voting for Mrs Clinton in Texas. My thought about that was: James Bond defeated Dr No and Ernst Stavro Blofeld because the bad guys wanted to toy with him a little bit rather than just shoot him in the head when they had the chance.
Keeping Mrs Clinton alive may be a mistake Republicans will sorely regret!

christ wasn't that pure. i bet he was getting it on with mary mags..
PJ as a republican I am not happy with McCain. If it is Obama/Mccain I would consider voting Obama. If it is Clinton/Mccain voting Mccain.
