20th Senate District predictions

The TL endorsed Lisa Baker today. Norton did an Undorsement.

So will Lisa Baker's Blue Cross ties help or hurt? Jim Haggerty went negative late which tells you something. Russ Bigus has been pounding Baker for weeks in the papers when he is not busy arguing with David Madeira.
The one Republican candidate has stayed out of this nonsense is Carl Sutton. The winner will face Democrat Bob McNamara in the fall.

Same questions. Who would you vote for and why? Order of finish and the point spread?

The TL endorsed the person who will have the most money to spend on ads from now until November. Is anyone surprised by this? If Baker has the support in the primary it will be nice to see McMamara do her in down the line. He is much more of a Republican than she really is. Maybe she should move to W.B. and take on Mundy.

That's true. McNamara holds more Republican principals! Good one.

  4. Nortons UNdorsement is a tough attack.

I don't think Blue Cross hurts unless the other candidates really make it an issue. Also, we have no right to that money. The next multimillion dollar lawsui they get they can afford.

Baker comes out the winner but more importantely Haggerty, Bigus (and Luzerne Republican Committee)
    come out "desperate" lossers.

    I've worked with L.B., I know L.B., and L.B. is no winner.

Dr. Rick, if BC was a private for-profit insurance company, you would be right. But BC is not for-profit and is tax-exempt. It is because of this special treatment from govt. that we as taxpayers and voters have a right to scrutinize what they do with their money.
