I don't hate anyone
When I disagree with the policies of the present government people start yelling I'm a Bush hater. When I disagree with our junior senator people say I'm a Santorum hater. A few days ago I heard a remark that I must be happy that Don Sherwood is in the hospital. Far from the truth. I disagree with these people politically and will oppose them but I wish them all well. I think Bush, Santorum and Sherwood should look forward to a long and well deserved retirement. Starting as soon as possible.

I don't think I can hate someone I don't actually know. I am of the opinion you have to know someone to hate them. Hating their policies or their actions is apprpriate, hating them when you don't even know them isn't possible.
I know a lot of Republicans. I disagree with them but I actually like some of them as people. This is where politics has gone off the rails. It used to be everyone knew each other and were less likely to demonize each other as a result.
Maybe we all need to socialize together a bit so we know one another. Maybe then we'll be less likely to indulge in the politics of personal destruction so quickly.
I know what you'll say next: what about that piece on Phil English? I've been aware of the story for well over a year but waited until a solid confirmation before publishing anything. The sources are very good. If true this information needs to be out there, the man is unsuitable for public office.
Not one to let out a good secret, but I guess you should know that the problem with the Democrats is they always try taking the high road in elections; usually this ends up with their losing. Republicans don't play a game of tiddliwinks when we are "in the arena" and therefore the Country looks upon us as strong and as leaders. Look at your last candidate, the GOP butchered his war record--actually persuading middle americans to doubt his candor about vietman. Kerry just took the high road--"I won't stoop to their level and respond."--I was amazed, but happy. Two years before that the Georgia Sen. Cleland who lost limbs in Vietnam was successfully portrayed as weak by my party--in a nutshell, we enjoy and welcome you guys taking the high road--it can only result in our continual victory in future elections.
They should be prison shopping right now to see which one they would like to spend the rest of their lives in.
LOL....i wish a few others would retire as well.
I hate Sherwood he is a disgrace to the GOP i hope he gets sick and cant run and Joe Peters comes in and saves the day
