I'll be back in a few days. If anything interesting happens leave me a heads up in the comments. Thanks to Say No and Ava for the following.

You can poke fun at Santorum all you want, but I'll bet he rips Casey apart by election day! People aren't even thinking about issues now--but in November who are they going to vote for?? A dimwit Liberal with no experience or a proven leader like Santorum--especially in this age of terror attacks (thankfully thwarted by Pres. Bush and other Conservatives).

Yeah, Bush & Co. really did a bang-up job on September 11, 2001.

But, Gort, I agree (for once) with Dr. Rick. Come on! That list barely scratches the surface! What about undermining the Constitution, engaging in a war under false pretexts, numerous foreign policy failures (pretty much ALL of their foreign policy),politicizing terrorism and the victims of terrorism, placing politics above all, etc., etc., etc....

Nobody asked me, but don't these terror alerts and elevations always seem to come about near election day?? His Holiness is not going to play the part of a far lefty paranoid--I am sure that the stories from GB are true, however we need to know exactly how far ahead in planning these guys were. The Republican plan for victory is to keep Iraq off of the front pages. The country is probably in the midst of civil war, but it has been overshadowed by the Israeli/Hezbollah conflict and now the terror threats. National Security is a Republican stronghold and if I were consulting Santorum I would tell him to lay off of Immigration and horn in on National security--it has worked for them in the last two elections but we will have to wait and see if three times is the charm.

I'll see you when you return. Don't worry I'll pick up the mail, water the plants and feed the dog or cat or both.

Stay safe and if this is a fun trip, have fun.

Note: After accepting lucrative campaign contributions from the utility companies (Allegheny Power, ARIPPA PAC, Columbia Gas, Dominion, Duquense Light, FirstEnergy Corp, PPL Corp, and the like), Joe Preston wrapped a "moral responsibility" cloak around Act 201 (Responsible Utility Customer Protection Act), and rushed from committee legislation that makes it much easier for the seedist financial interest in the country to terminate the gas, electric and water service of poor, low-income customers. Throughout the entire process, there was not a single public hearing on the measure.

Thank you
