Santorum endorses Romney

Former Senator Rick Santorum has endorsed Mitt Romney in the Feb. 12th Virginia Republican primary. No surprise since Ricky has been trashing his former buddy who campaigned for him in his losing race in 2006. That's gratitude.

"I served 12 years with him, six years in the Senate as one of the leaders of the Senate, trying to put together the conservative agenda, and almost at every turn, on domestic policy, John McCain was not only against us, but leading the charge on the other side"

He goes further on Hugh Hewitt's show, saying that McCain won't win the GOP base and was on the wrong side of the immigration issue.

"John McCain was the guy who was working with Ted Kennedy to drive it down our throats, and lectured us repeatedly about how xenophobic we were, lectured us, us being the Republican conference, about how wrong we were on this, how we were on the wrong side of history."

Lance also tells us that former Montgomery County Commissioner, Tom Ellis, has entered the race for Pennsylvania State Treasurer.

  1. If that isn't the kiss of death, then I don't know what is.

GRATITUDE IS SOMETHING NOT TO BE EXPECTED IN POLITICS. GORE KNIFED OL' JOE LEIBERMAN IN THE BACK IN 2004; A WHOLE HOST OF DEM SENATORS KNIFED HIM IN HIS 2006 RE-ELECTION BID AND LEIBERMAN IN TURN KNIFED THE DEMS BACK BY ENDORSING M'CAIN. AS HARRY TRUMAN ONCE PUT IT, "IF YOU WANT A LOYAL FRIEND IN WASHINGTON, BUY A DOG."
