ANd i can assure you that it will be a cliffhanger up until the very end. With all due respect to Gort, this is NOT going to be a blowout and contrary to my earlier belief, it does appear the Obama is Dukakis/Kerry incarnate.
I DON'T WANT TO RAIN ON YOUR PARADE FOREST, BUT I AM PRETTY SURE THAT HILLARY WILL BE DEAD BY 2112; ALONG WITH THE REST OF US; BUT GORT MAY STILL BE AROUND.
That will probably be the final result. The Repub party in Michigan is looking to throw off people with foreclosures. Personally, I am kind of torn on that prospect. Since we are in the midst of the largest credit crunch since the depression, there has to be punishment for people making dumb decisions to overpay for housing. There also has to be a respect for contracts. Otherwise, our time in the sun is over because we produce very little in terms of the things people want.
Granted, people didn't read the contracts, but why couldn't they spend the $500 to have a lawyer review the biggest purchase of their lives?
I'd be fine holding the feet of the bankers and mortgage brokers to the fire that lied to get a sale. Unfortunately, the government has forgotten its original intent for existence...to protect the general public.
Gort,
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the same maps of 2000 and 2004. Are we truly devided as a country 50 50?
P.S Gort I'm getting long in the tooth to play Alexander Hamilton. Maybe the kid Tony can do the role.
ReplyDeleteI will try to find a Hessian sight, There are not engough German bars in the area.
