Kanjo defends HCR

"My election is really inconsequential to good practice, good law and good healthcare in this country," Kanjorski said. "If I have to lose an election out of doing the right thing, so be it."

Take a position and defend it. Well done Uncle Paul.

My friend Gort - you're smarter than this:
These are the Dem talking points - do some checking to see what others are saying - Carney is another local example. Given the constant lying we've seen as to movitives - I have to question this comment. Would you believe this if Specter made the comment about doing the right thing and not worrying about re-election?

Please, Gort...he's stringing you along. HCR polls well in the 11th--unlike the 10th--and Kanjo is in the middle of a tough primary. Kanjo's whole career has been about saving his own ass.

  3. NOW you get angry?

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President.
You didn't get mad when Cheney allowed Energy company officials to dictate
    energy policy.
You didn't get mad when a covert CIA operative got outed.
You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed.
You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no threat to us.
You didn't get mad when we spent over 600 billion (and counting) on said illegal war. (2.5 BILLION a week and counting)
You didn't get mad when over 10 billion dollars just disappeared in Iraq.
You didn't get mad when the weapons inspectors, who said there were no WMDs, were ignored.
You didn't get mad when 660,000 people died in Iraq. (over a million now, and several million displaced)
You didn't get mad when you found out we were torturing people.
You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wiretapping Americans.
You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden.
You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed.
You didn't get mad when we let a major US city, New Orleans, drown.
You didn't get mad when we gave a 900 billion tax break to the rich. (during a time of war)
You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark.
You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick. Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all okay with you, but helping other Americans...oh hell no.

  4. Big Dan - you have too much time on your hands. Get a job, or a second job; get a hobby; go volunteer - just not around kids. Do something. But if you can write this much - get a life.

Big Dan, it's always easy to see when you touch a nerve. I have to wonder about the sanity of anyone who could find fault in what you wrote. Personally, I appreciate the time and effort you put into this post, it says all that needs to be said and it puts the Tea Bagers and their cause in proper perspective. I plan to copy your post and email it to my many friends throughout the area and country. I loved it! Thanks
