A Tea Party I'd like to attend

(one without a political agenda)

From TPM:

Of course, according to some other "Tea Party" types out there, it is often said that Kenya's major export is none other than President Barack Obama, who was supposedly born in Kenya, then covertly smuggled into the United States so that a biracial child named Barack Hussein Obama would one day grow up and run for president as part of a grand Marxist conspiracy.

But so far, it just looks like the Kenyans are bringing in some of their fine tea for this Capitol Hill event.

  1. This post made me laugh out loud, what are the odds that the President would be one of the fortunate Kenyan/Marxist Sunderkind to achieve the office, much less Kenya posit him for it?

TEA PARTY? i heard they were against HIGHER TAXES, smaller government and so on, what i saw was a group of TEA PARTY supporters outside Hazleton City Hall and NOT ONE word about Mayor Lou raising property taxes 70%, raising earned income tax on workers, increasing garbage taxes on the seniors.......

they are Republicans, call them what you want but they dont fool us.

Truth is can anyone prove or verify Obama's citizenship? Why are all his birth and educational records sequestered?

  4. They have proven his citizenship.

Snopes debunks the whole crazy birther conspiracy.

  5. While I find it preposterous that Obama was born in Kenya, some little facts Tony didn't point out.

The only thing ever made public about the presidents birth place was a certificate of live birth. This is not a birth certificate. You can't even get a driver's license with one.

The real questions that need to be asked are; Why won't he have his actual Birth Certificate published and why won't he release his college transcripts?? Hell, MacCain did and he was at the very bottom of his class.

  6. The sad thing is Zen is that I can provide you numerous facts regarding this birther crap and none of you will accept the truth. Instead you will continue to play into your crazed conspiracy theory. The facts are that there is proof he was born in Hawaii and there is no proof he was born in Kenya.

Factcheck.org debunks more of the conspiracy theories.

  7. Furthermore Hawaii law does not allow you to copy the long form birth certificate. That is why it has not been released.

  8. THIS IS ALL A BUNCH OF CRAP! These Tea Party people did not find fault with Lou because they are all Republicans. The TP is a joke. I would love to see an accurate list of the voter's registration for every member. For every hundred "R" there might be one "D". Besides, we all know that Republicans don't eat pizza so to issue them a NO PIZZA FOR YOU lable would be a waste but still, just for peace of mind, NO PIZZA FOR TEA PARTY REPUBLICANS. There, I've said it and I feel better. By the way, I'm thinking of having a fund raiser pizza party to buy the birthers a brain. Watch for ticket sales at your local pizzeria.

Pizza Pete, I love your banter. You make reading these things a joy. Post your location and I will stop by for a pizza.

  10. Here's the TeaBaggers in a nutshell:

If You're Unwilling to Cut Military spending and Give Up the EMPIRE...you really don't care about the debt. The military industrial complex spending is more than the next 15 countries combined, there's tens of billions in waste, we're building jet fighters and submarines to fight guys with exploding underpants, and military spending is by far the biggest government spending...but never mentioned by the TeaBaggers:

Maher to Teabaggers: If You're Unwilling to Cut Military and Give Up the Empire You Don't Really Care About the Debt...and that makes you just racist sore losers.

  11. The most recent poll said the TeaBaggers are 1% black...the margin of error is black people.
