NRA endorses Carney

Fairfax, Va.--

...

During his tenure in Congress, Chris Carney has demonstrated a proven and consistent commitment to our Second Amendment rights by voting for legislation to restore self-defense rights in our nation’s capital, as well as signing the pro-gun congressional amicus brief to the Supreme Court supporting our individual right to keep and bear arms in the historic Heller case. He also signed the pro-gun congressional amicus brief arguing that the Second Amendment guarantees a fundamental right that protects all Americans in the McDonald case...

Chris Carney’s commitment to preserving our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage has earned him an “A” rating and endorsement from the NRA-PVF.

“We ask all gun owners and hunters in Pennsylvania’s 10th District to vote Chris Carney for Congress this November 2nd.”

Tom Marino also picked up a key endorsement from the National Association of Undertakers
Tom Marino's opposition to Health Care Reform and his habit of putting his foot in his mouth while shooting himself in the foot ensures we will be very busy said spokesperson Lucrezia Borgia

In all my long suffering years, I never thought that I would say this, but to Hell with the NRA!!!
Why they would endorse a known Commie over a fine young man like Mr. Marino is beyond me!!!
I call on all loyal and gun worshipping people to cancel their membership in the NRA until they can get some good ol' American common sense back in their prissy heads!!!!

if two candidates for office have a "pro 2nd amendment" rating the NRA always picks the incumbent. they are kind of wussy like that.

I got a story for you gort. On April 15, 2009 some ofthe first tea party rallies took place around the country. One of the places where a rally was held was in Hazleton by the steps of city hall. Allen Keys was the guest speaker at the event and the mic was passed around for members of the audience to speak. One of the guys who took the mic was a younger man who is now leading the efforts of Joe Sestak in Center COunty PA. This is a story in itself someone speaking at a tea party rally working for a dem.

Tom Marino and Chris Carney have a "A" rating from the NRA but they give the backing to the incumbent if they have the same rating. But that is something GORT didn't let you know about. Slanted reporting here I notice.

If everyone possessed a firearm the crime rate would be erased in one night.
I understand that the liberals always display their childish cries for a "level playing field".
Where arms are concerned I am in total agreement.
Does anyone honestly believe that if every citizen were armed that a thug would not think twice about brandishing a weapon??
We can listen to all of the leftist rhetoric against guns but when it all comes down to it the only true way to beat crime is to not enforce gun control laws more but to relax them completely.
A level playing field, students, that's all we ask for.
    Class dismissed!!!

I'm totally down! Carney's a vet, a hero, and a good congressman. I hope this helps him seal his chance at re-election with the voters, because as a proud constituent of his, I want him to keep working for us. Carney is twice the man that Kanjorski is and three times the man that both Marino and Barletta are. He's a genuinely good guy.

Can't wait to vote for him again.
