Roy Halladay's no hitter

When a pitcher throws a gem like this one the catcher deserves a lot of the credit. I think Carlos Ruiz has been the MVP of the Phillies this year. He has handled the pitching staff well and is one of the best hitting catchers in the game. And I nominate Charlie Manuel for NL Manager of the Year. The Phillies had 18 players spend time on the disabled list (some more than once) this year and the team had a 3 week stretch when it seemed like everybody forgot how to hit the ball. Despite that they finished with the season with the best record in Baseball. I think we all can agree that Roy Halladay will win the Cy Young Award.
