its all about Philly and surrounding counties. Remember rendell only won 10 counties over Casey and wiped up.

Bobby Casey, that is the office he genuinely desire..

Casey? Never happen. He has a new 6 year term and I guess you have to spend some time within that circle to understand how powerful they are and how they live the life of kings and queens. No way will Casy give up what he has. I'm hoping that Corbett will be in court answering for his role in the Sandusky case.

I agree w/9:59, if Bobby thinks he has a chance of winning; he is going. He is a son trying to live up to the legacy of a great father.

Our current Governor better watch out for Chris Carney. With Corbett's low favorability rating, plus being MIA as AG during the Sandusky affair, Carney's political experience and integrity puts him on the A list for Governor.

With the announcement today of no more toll plazas on the turnpike by Corbett today should be an eye opener to everyone that voted for tarah toohil got them.
Today it was turnpike workers, tomorrow the lottery workers, the Penn Dot workers, then Dept of Correction guards and oh yeah liquor store clerks.
Are you all happy now?

Unless he was contemplating a run for the Presidency in the future it would not be feasible for Casey toseek the Governership.

His victory margin over Smith could have been higher but that is most likely due to his apathy in the campaign for the most part. Had he campaigned more aggressively he would have had a landslide.

I see Casey staying in the Senate probably for as long as he wantgs the job.

So 10:18, instead of putting the money into the roads themselves, we should keep paying people to do an obsolete job? I have lost several jobs in my lifetime, and I desire to see no one lose theirs, but is it really the best use of money to pay someone to collect tolls, if there is a less expensive way?
I guess my you logic, we should start building horse carriages, because people lost their jobs. Or perhaps, we should all stop using cell phones, so pay phones can be put back in service.

I think Sestak is a definite, someone made a good comment on PoliticsPA a few days ago that Sestak upset some of the Democratic party in 2010 by not taking part in the coordinated campaign and encouraging people to ticket split.
Shapiro, the Montgomery County Commish could be solid candidate.
I know Kathleen Kane said she wouldnt run, but that impressive vote total last Tuesday might make her rethink that.

Auditor General Jack Wagner shows all the signs of making a run for governor. He's already traveling the state and pointing out that our bridges are ready to fall down. And, he recently stuck his nose into the whole Penn state thing. His term as Auditor is almost up and he can't run for a third term. He'll go for governor.
