No school today

Or blogging because of the snow that these guys think disproves global warming.

While I don't consider myself a militant environmentalist, there are two things that seem pretty reasonable to me:

1. Pouring $hit into the air is bad for everyone, even if you don't agree that it's a cause of Global Warming.
2. Based on #1, we should strive to put less $hit into the air.

That noted, folks that subscribe to the various theories about Global Warming consistently say that it will cause wild swings in the weather. I guess Drudge missed that part every time he makes a snarky comment about how it's snowing during various Global Warming meetings.

It would take a complete asshole to not understand that regardless of warming or no warming, we should all do everything possible to protect our environment. It total jerks like Rush Limbaugh who brag that they drive big SUVs and we who are concerned are all nuts. He also thinks that oil will last as long as the earth still exists. Asshole's all!

To paraphrase the late, not-so-great former Secretary of the Interior James Watt, "...we don't have to worry about protecting the environment, since Jesus is returning soon anyway..."

You can't disprove something that can't be proven to start with. Of course we shouldn't dump $hit into the air, nor should we turn power over to a Marxist organization with global taxation powers when we're the one's with the money.

If global warming were to go away, how many scientists whose job it is currently to prove global warming, would be on the bread line. Then look at the reverse. As with anything tied to government action, just follow the money. Once you see the trail you find the scam.

shivas - see many black helicopters piloted by men in black lately?

No helicopters...but there are a lot of very big white trucks with blacked-out windows being spotted in Bradford, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties. Most of them have TX, LA or OK license plates. Aliens?
