The latest independent YouTube foray into the 2008 Presidential campaign. It's not approved by his camp but it doesn't hurt. Thanks to Oliver Willis for pointing this out.

Obama's posing arm in arm with the prominent racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton, and endorsing him and his hate organization (National Action Network) in the bargain, should more than undo any benefits he gains from having this woman pretend to have a crush on him.
Google on "Al Sharpton" AND "Freddy's Fashion Mart" OR "Crown Heights" OR "Tawana Brawley" to understand what Al Sharpton is. Suffice to say that, were he to wake up one morning to discover that he had become a Caucasian, he would be cutting holes in his pillowcase by noon and burning a cross by nightfall. He is every bit as vicious as any white supremacist like David Duke, and his followers have even perpetrated two violent incidents in which people were killed.
Has anyone suggested that Ed Rendell or Joe Lieberman get into the race? Noting that Hillary Clinton also endorsed Sharpton's hate group--the same one that paraded around Freddy's Fashion Mart while screaming racial and anti-Semitic epithets before setting it on fire--Democrats need to get someone else into the race, and quickly.
Good to hear from you Bill. I don't have time for Sharpton either and don't understand why he is always on TV. But I don't buy into the guilt by association. I think it was ironic he was on all the talking heads shows singing the praises of another hate monger, Jerry Falwell, the day he died.
Gort,
I understand "guilt by association"--Joe McCarthy reputedly called people Communists just because they had been seen with Communists. Some people even said McCarthy fabricated the pictures.
Obama was not merely "seen with" Al Sharpton, which would be enough for a McCarthyite guilt by association charge. He went to Sharpton's hate group (with Hillary Clinton and John Edwards), posed arm in arm with Sharpton, and said, “Reverend Sharpton is a voice for the voiceless, and a voice for the dispossessed. What National Action Network has done is so important to change America, and it must be changed from the bottom up.”
This is comparable with a candidate appearing arm in arm with the Grand Wizard at a Klan meeting, and talking about how important the Klan is to America. The National Action Network did to Freddy's Fashion Mart exactly what the KKK did to Black-owned businesses in white neighborhoods.
Like I said, someone should say something to Lieberman and/or Rendell...
