Carolee doesn't like the carpeting

This is like deja vu all over again.

Office too rundown for Medico Olenginski

... the rug had a black stain that appeared to be grease. She also described dirty walls, furniture “marked beyond normal use” and a six-inch section of missing plaster.

can't believe the voters of this county were stupid enough to put this person in again.

I think Luzerne County is an alternate universe.

Don't begin to think that county voters have now climbed to the top. Carolee, Walter and Home Rule to follow. What a ride!

i think i would rather have what we had then walt and carolee

So if the worst thing she does is bitch and moan, so what? She does a good job and is not part of the machine

10:57 If al she did was bitch and moan life would be wonderful but she was much worse than that. She will spend more to work in luxury than the state senate. She ran for the wrong office, she should have taken on Musto.

she does much more than bitch and moan. she will create an awful environment to work and to govern in. but alas, the republicans can't get serious people to run for office so we are stuck with attention seeking grandstanders. time to switch parties.

I just think that with people going to jail left and right, it seems an inappropriate time to bring up that there's a stain on a carpet. Unless it's some kind of comic relief statement.

no Dan to Carolee that IS important stuff. It is a chance for her to gripe without really putting herself on the line. The papers pick it up, the ding dongs at WILK may pick it up and she gets the attention she so desperately craves. What other kind of person uses a "divorced" name along with another married name? I bet if the name was smith or jones she would not use it. Why does she use it? Medico!

If I were medico, I would force her legally to stop using the name. They are divorced so she has no right to the name. If I were her husband, I would be off the wall livid with her using her former husband's name but most of all, I would be very hurt. What hell is wrong with that woman? Rhetorical question, I know what's wrong with her. Obviously, it's truly all about Carolee.

Anon 5:23 the biggest question is what is wrong with the voters of Luzerne County?

Don't ask Bob Morgan or Wil Toole, their both still wondering.

"...what is wrong with the voters of Luzerne County?"

That's the real question. While I claim no extra insight, I do have a theory: In NEPA (not just Luzerne County), we have generations that lived under systems...be they coal companies or entrenched grafting governments...where it was taught that there were only ever three choices in life:

1. Participate in the graft
2. Turn a blind eye to the graft
3. Leave the area

A 4th choice, namely "fight to make it better" was never an option in generations past. I think that the Internet has the potential to add that 4th choice by providing a vehicle for sharing information and expressing dissenting opinions.

You are right Steve. However, I am going with option number 3. I moved away and came back and within the year I will be out of here for the last time.
This place is a hell hole and it should just sink into the abyss.
The people who are supposed to represent reform, Walter and Carolee are self-absorbed, grandstanders. One who rides the coat-tails of an ex-husband's name and another one who invests little time into his business. Drive by it, there is nary a customer to be seen.
The fact is those who thought this area was worth fighting for will be disgusted and disillusioned with the named pair and things will return to the first 2 options. Serious minded people are dissuaded or drummed out of the process.
This is not the first time the feds went after local elected officials. Maybe not to this extent, but it happened before and things returned to normal.
For all the ballyhooing the talkers at WILK do, they are a major part of the problem. They need to feed the fire of this insanity to boost their ratings and pad their own pockets.
It is a cycle where, in the end, the average citizen continues to lose.
