Blogger beware

The website Doherty Deceit is in the news again. This time for going after a member of the Scranton City Council. A few months ago the original host dropped it over some controversy but they found a new home. The latest blowup is documented in the TT: Web site rattles Gatelli
She claims that the postings on the site are a threat to her and her family while the site moderator/owner says it's free speech.

I don't live in Scranton so I don't know all the issues involved. The only thing I can say is that politicians should have thick skins and bloggers should have some responsibility. Discuss and argue the future without trying to destroy people. There is no perfect human being.
