Echoing anon's sentiment? Kidder Street?! Don't they have an office downtown as well?

They opted for an office with more room and closer to a residential area. Plus there is a bathroom in this one. It is really hard to miss. They have a large Obama sign that can be seen as you drive down Kidder St.

If this is any indication of how Mr. Obama is going to conduct his campaign in the Keystone State then he may as well mail all PA's 21 Electoral votes to Sen. McCain postage paid. The Kidder St. location only enhances my view that the Obama campaign organization is nearly as juvenile as its supporters. And for a candidate who touts himself as a champion of the common man and the downtrodden, well, may I say that the Kidder St. location is most definitely no "user friendly". Most poor/low income folks utilize public transportation and most conduct their commerce in downtown Wilkes-Barre--how will these people access the Obama headquarters without undergoing a lot of inconvenience?? I understand that the little children who patronize Wendy's, Taco Bell, (the porn shop, for the more seedier liberals), etc. will have no problem steering their BMW's onto Kidder street, but what about the little old lady who uses the LCTA and only has so much to spend on bus fare??? I will admit that this oversight is not intentional on the part of the Obama campaign, but it most certainly shows a lack of sensitivity to the very people it pertains to represent. I can assure you that Sen. McCain's headquarters "will" be user friendly and in effect will prove the point that Mr. McCain and not Sen. Obama understands the needs and more importantly (as far as a campaign is concerned) the lifestyle of the common folks. Class dismissed.

And I'm sure you'd have an issue with Obama and his supporters if he had an office downtown.

So you know Millburn, the same building was used by Steve Urban when he was running for commissioner. Was his campaign juvenile as well?

And I'd love to see you post something without insulting someone or some group of people.

Regardless of the location of his headquarters, Barack needs to get down and dirty before it's too late. Fox news may have you believe the press is on his side, but in all actuality the press is on McCains side. Does anyone seriously believe that if it were Barack and Michele involved in that silly biker contest debacle that it would not be all over cable news all day and all night. Sure, it is reported in the press with little fanfare but as far as I know cable news is staying out of it full scale. There are so many instances where McCain is being given a pass and Obama is not. If he sits back trying to play the good guy like Kerry and Dukakis did before him, then he will be history. Barack, go after McCain on the Keating Five scandal, on his flip flops over the environment, AND MOST OF ALL MAKE IT QUITE CLEAR WHERE HE STANDS ON ABORTION. There are many Hillary supporters out there who seem to be under the impression that Mac is pro choice; and he is fine with that! Force him to state his position on this issue and the Hillary crowd will be yours! God Bless Bloggerville.

If Barack made the mistake of joking about entering his wife in a semi-nude beauty contest the press would jump on him hard.

I think we will see more attack ads on McCain after the convention. Right now Obama is spending money on voter registration and things like that. Which is a smart move. This is the summer after all, we're not in the heated campaign season. Republican registration is done big time in many states.

The media treats McCain like his is a "maverick". But is he isn't. Maybe he honestly was 8 years ago. McCain is not a friend to women, gays, lower-income Americans etc. He needs to be hit for that.

I think it's funny how they're making him sound Irish in the pic and at the parade.
