PJ's running in the 118th District. I'd vote for him in the 118th, but not in the 117th...James May's got my vote there!

Oops, thanks for the correction. It's fixed.

Gort graciously published: "If anyone knows where to find Dan Meuser without an invitation please let me know."
Great idea! It would be great if we can identify places where the public can ask Dan Meuser questions from the floor. Chris "Mr. Clean" Hackett and Congressman Chris Carney are not hiding, they face the public and answer voters. I would love to see Dan Meuser answer questions without a heavy handed screener protecting him.
Best wishes,
Barry O'Connell

I think dan meuser can be found having an adult beverage with his cantankerous pal rusty at the westmoreland club.

Gort,

I have been following Mr. Meuser's campaign very closely. He has had multiple "Meet and Greets" in every county. I just received an e-mail invitation to an upcoming event:

The Prince Hotel
45 East Tioga St.
Tunkhannock, PA. 18657

Tuesday, March 11, 2008
6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Event is Complimentary, Friends and Family Welcome

Thanks.

Yeah, and he was seen hiding with about 100 friends at Grotto Pizza. Hardly the Westmoreland Club, I enjoyed the pizza, wings & beer.

He gave a nice speech, and answered every question, as he does at every stop, in every county.

Barry, isn't the White House calling?

Oh, and another thing, I hear Hackett is being "liberal" with the truth, as far as his involvement in bringing new businesses to the area.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on your point of view, the facts don't seem to support his version of the events.

I mean, really, no one disputes his help in recycling Luzerne county employees, he should bask in the glow of that accomplishment, instead of falsely claiming credit for jobs he did not deliver.

Chris, Dave, Pat, Scott, Barry, anyone...can someone shed some light on the truth?

Just to jog your collective memories...C3I?, Boden?, ringing any bells?

Oh, and one more thing Chris, how does it feel to kiss off 10th district family farmers?

Ciao for now.

I have been at a few Meuser events that were open to the public. I plan on trying to make it up to Tunkhannock weather and time permitting. Barry, seriously, why do you have such a vendetta against Meuser? And why do you think you should air your personal vendetta against him on a public blog? No one here really cares about your personal problems. Did he refuse to buy one of your crappy rugs or something? Is that what this is about?

kar,

You went out for pizza and beer and didn't invite me? I'm heartbroken:)

Gort,

I promise that when this is over, and by that I mean after Dan beats Carney in November.

I will invite you and your wife to join us (the spouse & me) at Grotto for pizza, wings & beer, my treat.

One ground rule, no political talk, football, baseball, old movies, but no politics.

Ciao

That's funny, last I heard C3I and Boden were two companies that did relocate to the region... KAR is there something you'd like to share?

Anonymous said...

No, nothing I want to share, but I'd like to hear exactly what Hackett had to do with bringing them here...anybody?

The Ghetto...ur I mean the Grotto, yah Meuser is safe there as Armand has his signs all over the place.

One thing is for sure, Meuser has all the Back Mountain RINO's in his camp, the same ones who keep the democrats like Kanjorski funded too.
