John Cole

I'm a big fan of the Scranton Times Editorial cartoonist John Cole and I often use his drawings to illustrate my posts because as the old saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words. He has to be one of the best in the business. Cole has a way connecting a national story to the local scene like these 2 recent cartoons.

That last cartoon gave me an idea for an alternate use for Kanjorski's scuttled Inflatable Dam. An inflatable border wall!

I love Kanjo they guy is dead silent on immigration until now, Eventhough he is a democrat he never sought to help the growing spanish speaking population in NEPA, While Lou did what he could in Hazelton to help the new Americans

yo exiled how was he gonna help them? by making sure they had to show their papers when they bought gas. havving them show their papers when they needed medical help. having them become immdiaely suspect when they speak because they have an accent. I am sure Lou's grandparents who came over from the old country would have been proud. and I'm sure anyone who survived communism or fascism in Nazi germany would have nightmares.
