Meet the candidate

Pennsylvania Republican 10th Congressional District candidate Chris Hackett has 2 events on his schedule this week. Tonight you can find Chris at the Harveys Lake Grotto Pizza from 7 to 9PM. Let's hope that the impending snow storm, that the forecasters are saying will be the worst one since the last one, won't keep people away. On Friday you can find him in the wilds of Snyder County at Penn Valley Airport (New Terminal Building), Selinsgrove, 7-9PM.

Why aren't you giving your money to the democrats this year Chris?

Is it because you are running as a Republican?

probably the same reason dan isn't giving money to dems, including kanjo

Don't worry, both are so out of touch that the "prince of pork" should win easily.

For being out of touch, he had a pretty good turn out at his event at Grotto Pizza last night. I live pretty close (I could walk), and I was shcocked to see a room full of people in the middle of a snowstorm when I arrived.

The Q & A wasvery good, and from my perspective, he did a good job answering all the questions to the questioners satisfaction. he did say "we probably won't agree on every issue, but you can count on me to make my decisions based on principles" (my paraphrase).

It was interesting to watch the snowmobiles driving by and doing donuts in the parking lot as he spoke!

First of all, anon 6:17, anyone who has ever been in his presence knows his Q&A is NEVER good.
Second, I think it's so friggin funny that Dave has finally convinced Chris to go negative. It's like there was a date set and the floodgates opened today. All of a sudden there was an undending string of the same comments from different people about Meuser. Huh, interesting. Come on Chris, you're showing your desperation. Next thing you know, the Meuser campaign will start to have "computer problems". Right Dave???

Wow - Chris - you actually live in the 10th district!!! Would you send Dan a map and tell him he needs to actually live among the people he seeks to represent!!!!

Anonymous said...

Seriously??? Do you realize how stupid you sound anon 10:33??
So the people in the 10th are different from the people in the 11th???? People in Exeter are different than people in Wyoming? People in Jessup are different than people in Olyphant??? People in South Williamsport are different than people in Williamsport?? Show me where any of these people would have different concerns and I'll agree you may be on to something. Otherwise, think before you speak. Please.

I can't wait to these both of these feuding country club big money jerks show up again on the dem contribution rolls again.

Watch when this is all over and see who goes back to pay to play with the democrats. Hackie may even give to his amigo Vicent Fox down in Me he co

Talk about redefining conservatism!

wow bob, if you don't know the major issue differences in the 10th and the 11th then you are way out of touch.
then again anyone in the Mueser camp must be out of touch, just like Mueser himself.

Anon 9:37,

Just curious what examples you can give of negative campaigning for the 10th Seat? People like you keep throwing it around, but never cite anything.

Also, the whole residency thing is silly. Who cares where he lives? What does he stand for and does he support the issues that are important to conservatives, thats what matters.

scott some voters may care. they may see it as opprotunism and people in the 10th may feel they are being used so this individual can promote his personal agenda. it is up to each voter to decide whether it matters to them, it is as legitimate an issue as one feels it is.

bob kelly - keep on supporting carpet baggers like Meuser - he doesn't live in the district he wants to represent!!! He's too much of a chicken to run against Kanjorski - so he puts himself in the race where he could capture a seat and line his pocket by passing more medicare for lift chairs - bob kelly - you are really a political rocket scienist to support this kind of thief and idiot!

Anonymous said...

Anon 3:22, no, I don't know the differences. Enlighten me. I'm willing to listen. And I'm not in the Meuser Camp. I was supporting Romney too I guess that means I'm in his camp. What a dips**t. (I'm getting like Eddy now)
And Anon 7:11 (probably the same guy) your comment has so many mistakes in it you may as well not even try to make a point next time. And as for why he didn't run against Kanjo?? If I were him I wouldn't either. A new face in the political field never ran for office before thinking he could defeat the Kanjorski machine. Then I'd call him an idiot. This primary is pretty much over. Sorry guys.

Anonymous said...

Isn't that what the Hillary team was saying just before OBama started to cream them???

Anonymous said...

hey - bob kelly - the primary is over - a Meuser lover like you will see his pretty boy candidate needing a scooter to get around the 10th district - where he doesn't even live - after Hackett wipes up the election!

Anonymous said...

yo bob wasn't john mccain pretty much out of it last year???? you know how to pick up, if you and santorum's endorsements and sage insight are any indication it will be hackett

Anon 6:17- you don't need to lie. I live in Harvey's lake, I stopped by the Grotto to hear Chris and nobody was there. This was the night of the huge snowstorm. Nobody would hold it against Chris if the crowd did not show up. You don't have to lie for him, I think there is enough of that happening on this site anyway. Let's try to stick to the truth, it would be a great change from what i have seen on this site for both candidates. i know both of them and they would both make a good candidate. meuser living 200 yards will not matter much and Chris paying for mexican president vincente fox will not matter also. Listen to both of them, both have worked hard and created something and it is sad to see both sides of this campaign destroying that. May the best man win.

Anon 11:42,

You are right, it was the night of the huge snowstorm. That is what made the turnout even more impressive. And THAT is the truth.

I'm sure anyone working at the Grotto that night will tell you, because while the resturant was empty, the meeting room was full.

They weren't all necessarily fans of Chris either, as the first questioner pointed out he had not yet decideded who he would support, but he knew it would not be Carney.
