The next meeting of the Saturday OT Committee and Operatic Society is scheduled for this Saturday 4PM at Marks Pub 1287 N Washington St, Wilkes-Barre (map it). Pope George Ringo has extended an invitation to all.

What is this OT Committee thing?
I will be unable to attend, but I might send a campaign surrogate.
It is something that was started 13 years ago to give anybody who wished to attend, a chance to blow off some steam, talk about politics or anything else for that matter that happens to be of interest.
The OT stands for "overtime", because we all happened to be getting off of an overtime shift when this started.
It is basically an excuse to go out and have a few beers with friends who have different opinions on all sorts of topics.
A good time will be had by all.
Wow, I wish I could go but I am trapped in DC for the weekend. Hopefully I can get to the next one.
