PA 11th CD mud wars

The NRCC has a spot up rehashing the Cornerstone controversy titled Kick Out Kanjorski and another one that is somewhat amusing using the the theme song from Deliverance riffing on the age old charge of flip-flopping.

Dueling Kanjos

The Kanjo camp went after Barletta over the sludge that is that being dumped around Hazleton.
Despite threats of a lawsuit the latest Kanjorski spot brings up the DeAngelo brothers involvement in drug dealing and their ties to Lou Barletta.

Lou Barletta: Bad Judgment, Bad Ideas.

The Kanjo ads have been fact checked by the unofficial Barletta oppo research website.

Both camps have been firing off press releases.

Kanjo

Wilkes-Barre, PA - When he first ran against Lou Barletta in 2002, Congressman Paul Kanjorski (PA-11) released his income tax returns. Barletta did not. The Congressman says he will release his last ten income tax returns again during this campaign, but if only if Barletta agrees to release all his income taxes from the same period.

The response from the Barletta campaign .

I like this one: The quantity of and amounts deposited in Kanjorski accounts in the Cayman Islands, if any.

If any? What BS. If Barletta has proof that Paul Kanjorski has a bank account in the Cayman Islands or Switzerland he better provide the details

Old School R says :

Kanjorski / Mitchell bring shame on all of us. The DBI commercial is a new low, even for them.. One of the DeAngelo brothers got in trouble for cocaine when he was 21 years old .. That was well over 20 years ago. The guy paid his debt to society and is a productive tax paying citizen. Isn't that what our corrections system is supposed to do ? He and his family bought Barletta's business 8 years ago. Now Kanjorski through his sewer friend Ed Mitchell claim that Lou Barletta does business with drug dealers ?
What scum bags ! Kanjorski stole 9 million dollars for his family. The only reason that he was not charged by the feds is that the House Ethics Committee traded his investigation (small fish with a big problem) for the investigation of Republican Tom Delay (big fish with a smaller problem) That information was on the front page of "Roll Call"
Paul has lost his mind .. His health problems have melted his brain . He is now talking about "god flying over Wyoning Valley" in speeches.. He needs to get a taste of that penal system that he has no respect for. Mitchell gets a taste of the penile system every day

Old school, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you are wrong. Kanjo did not steal $9 million. It was $12 million. You forgot about the $3 million that went to nephew Russell in Colorado this year.

Blogger is having some problems right now so I can't delete the anon 8:44 comment or I would. I don't have many rules on comments but racial epitaphs are both unnecessary and offensive. Maybe I should just leave it up and promote it to the front page to show what a shit you are.

2:49 Am gort? dang bro, get some sleep.

I agree with the racial epithets rule but have a question. Is it okay to call Obama a halfrican?

I think the real question is are we mature and intelligent enough not to resort to using racial epithets?

And halfarican is just as offensive. You might as well be calling him a "halfbreed" because that is what halfrican implies.

The N word.

Blogger is now working right and the asshole anon 8:44PM comment is now gone. I left the jerks 2nd comment up because Jedi had such an elloquant response.

When I was in the Air Force a guy that became a good friend explained to me just how offensive and hurtful that name is. Words matter.
