Sarah Palin in Scranton on Tuesday

Governor Sarah Palin will be in Scranton Tuesday, October 14th at Riverfront Sports Complex. Doors open at 11:00am. PA Riverfront Sports Complex 5 West Olive Plaza, Scranton, PA Tuesday, October 14th Doors Open: 11:00am.
.
Gov. Palin will have a press conference following the rally or maybe not. I don't remember any candidate for office high office, or low office for that matter, that hasn't been grilled by the press.
My blog buddy, Sights on Pennsylvania, thinks that this report clears Palin of any wrongdoing in the troopergate scandal.
.
Look at the report.
.
Finding Number One

For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) provides The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust.
I find that, although Walt Monegan's refusal to fire Trooper Michael Wooten was not the sole reason he was fired by Governor Sarah Palin, it was likely a contributing factor to his termination as Commissioner of Public Safety.
.
Will Palin hold a press conference to answer these charges and clear up any misconceptions that we have?
.
Free Sarah! Let her talk to us.
.
I think the Palin boom comes down to this.
.
Update: Norton breaks down the report

And once again, a campaign event is scheduled that gives the finger to that insignificant fraction of people who work during the day and can't get time off at the drop of a hat.

I wish I could go to this stop on the HateFest Express tour, just to see if the crowd remembers to bring the pitchforks and torches and pointy white hoods this time.

Do you think she'll ad "He's an Arab!" to the list of Discredited Talking Points that make up her speech? She could put it right after "voted 94 times for higher taxes."

In virginia, when palin is set to speak, there are organizers from through maryland, delaware and virginia set to protest her.
Maybe someone up there should get to work on an anti-palin protest.

Say what you want about Sarah, but she did not hing wrong in this case. the trooper she wanted to get fired should have been fired,
he tasered kids and threatened to kill an old man.

Perhaps the only reason she knew about his faults was becuase he was "family" but she knew he was bad news bears and she and the first dude tried to get rid of him.

The guy she fired is no angel either in addittion to supporting the creep he has had a restrainging order put against him his ex wife.

I belive in restraining the executive branch, but this is not an abuse of excutive power.as head of the executive branch she "cleaned up" the executive branch by trying to remove two creeps. An abuse of executive power is (jap internment camps) going to war in bosnia without congressional approval, or wiretapping citizens. Not firing bad state employees

She & McCain are truly mavericks after all. Both have been found to have violated ethics rules. In GOP-speak, that makes one a maverick.

I hope the hometown crowd gives Palin the same greetings that the Flyers fans did in Philly -- a resounding chorus of boos.

Now, that would be Electric!

The Flyers fans are what happens when Republicans don't go with scripted shill crowds. They get booed.

Salon.com: Meet Sarah Palin’s radical right-wing pals. Extremists Mark Chryson and Steve Stoll helped launch Palin’s political career in Alaska, and in return had influence over policy. “Her door was open,” says Chryson — and still is.

He is the son of the late evangelist Francis Schaeffer and considered himself a lifelong Republican. But on Friday, Schaeffer published an open letter to McCain excoriating the Arizona senator:
