The Phillies win the phirst game of the World Series

Cole Hamels went his usual 7 innings, the bullpen was perfect again and Ryan Howard kept striking out. Chase Utley hit a 2 run homer and Carlos Ruiz had the game winning hit.


Phils win 3-2.

Can you say Hatchet job by the umps game 2. I mean you have the unstrikeout, two way outside pitches to the big man called strikes, and of course the ball that did not Hit jimmy rollins

As excited as I am to see the Phillies in the WS, I am not holding my breath for a series win. After all, they're another Philadelphia team which means that they will probably blow it.
