Another deficit in Luzerne County

$10M county deficit projected

The Commissioners haven't been able to balance the budget for as long as I can remember. They always invent revenues and understate expenses. No wonder people who have seen their property values inflated by reassessment are pissed off.

The easiest way to solve this problem would be to put toll booths on 115, 309 and 315. 3-4 toll booths in the county each should probably solve the revenue problem.

How about toll booths on 81? Just toll the tractor-trailers going more than 15 miles over the speed limit or traveling less than three feet from the vehicles in front of them. We'll be rich!

Another problem that could be solved with Home Rule

The problem with this area is that all the coal mine crackers still have a bitter taste about the republican party since the 1940's when Dan Flood gained his Seat back. The elderly people in this area continue to believe that one political party has the solutions to this area's problems.

The truth is that the voters have nobody to blame than themselves - well, Lynn Villano and all her predecessors have to take part of the blame for not stepping up to the plate and giving somewhat of a challenge. Where were the republican leaders a few months ago?

Oh I remember, Lynn said she was too busy with her family to do anything - tough shit Lynn, others gave more for smaller causes than you gave to the republican party. It takes less effort shoving a sippy cup in your toddler's mouth than it does to realize your incompetence as a leader. Thanks for fucking up the republican party in Luzerne County Mrs. Villano!!! By the way, I know you're unhappy with your reassessment on your property in Harveys Lake. What also know know is that you're too much of a pussy to fight it - you just stood on the sidelines and let this fiasco happen. One lack of effort after another deserves a theme song: how about Brittany Spears' Oops I did it again
