DNC ad

We won't be fooled again

via HuffPo

...the DNC's first television ad directly related to the midterms.

"This fall, America faces a big choice: Do we continue to move forward like the Democrats are doing? Investing in education for every child, manufacturing right here at home, clean energy powering a new economy. Do we put Main Street ahead of Wall Street; do we hold big business accountable when they've gone to far? Or do we go back to the same Republican policies that got us into this mess?" the spot reads before fading to audio of Bush proclaiming "you can't get fooled again."

Interesting that the ad says nothing about the great health care overhaul. Hmm...

That's right Anon 8:46, probably a Republican. Run away from your past. 6 years of the House and Senate under Bush with record budgets, now we're4 supposed to listen when you talk about spending. You spent like drunken sailors on your own projects so do me a favor and spare me the bullshit when you talk about being fiscally responsible.

Well PJ, if you can cite ONE example of how the country has moved forward in the past year and a half I might give this choice some thought. And I'm talking about REAL examples. Not vague "things are getting better" type answers.

Before you can go forward you have to stop going backwards. Correcting the failed policies of the Bush administration is not easy work.

The question is not whether Mr. Obama has failed, but the depth and ramifications of his failure.
