Who is Neville Chamberlain?

This yahoo on Hardball doesn't have a clue. He 's actually yelling louder than Tweety.

Radio Host Kevin James Walks into a Smackdown

Crooks and Liars has the transcript.

Neville Chamberlain was the Prime Minister of Great Britain before WWII.

Like many in Britain who had lived through World War One, Chamberlain was determined to avert another war. His policy of appeasement towards Adolf Hitler culminated in the Munich Agreement in which Britain and France accepted that the Czech region of the Sudetenland should be ceded to Germany. Chamberlain left Munich believing that by appeasing Hitler he had assured 'peace for our time'.

Peace in our time; What can be said is that Chamberlain was a man of reason who believed that one could negotiate with the enemy in good faith. His successor Churchill, was at times a man without reason, a man who viewed the odds against him and insanely carried forward--exactly what the country needed at the time. Sometimes men of reason and appeasement are not what is needed in wartime. The only difference between Sen. Obama and Neville Chamberlain little children, is that Sen. Obama doesn't use an umbrella.

Since when is talking to the enemy appeasement? Isn't your summer vacation starting? Was Kevin James a former pupil of yours?

I'll be spending my summer at my beach house working on a book about the Obama phenomenon. To say that it is both a political/psychological exercise (the assemblage of the little children like a family of ants is utterly amazing to me) would be an understatement.
